Thank you for an interesting list of articles. My political views align pretty well with yours so I found the couple of articles I looked at to be thought provoking. I'm new to Substack and there's so much good content it's hard to keep up. Keep them coming.
Good to hear! Yes, Substack is great but it has a chaotic ‘wild west’ feeling when it comes to finding stuff.
And glad to meet someone with similar politics. It feels crazy (& scary) to admit what I believe in right now. How did ‘common damn humanity’ become so radical? Hence embracing my Cranky Humanist moniker on Substack.
If we spent more time just listening and being decent to each other our country would be in much better shape. I'd love to outlaw gerrymandering so there are no "safe" districts for anybody. This would force politicians to actually listen to their constituents and solve real problems. Most people are actually pretty reasonable.
Me, too! Especially with Substack being so new. I haven’t really worked out how to find the ‘good’ stuff yet. Recommendations from people I follow are key, IMHO.

How fun to read your top picks, Deborah! Can’t wait to explore these. My fav part so far…ending at 9 because screw rules 😂
ROTFL! I felt that nagging perfectionism kick in and I thought, ‘What would Dr. Gladys do?’ ;pp
Hooray to using the FUCKIT Method like a pro, Deborah!! 🤣🙌🏽🎉
Thank you for sharing! I love getting recommendations from people I know and trust.
